Attorney Ray Maples has earned a spot on the Oklahoma Super Lawyers list for 2015, his third consecutive year receiving this honor. He was selected for the Oklahoma Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list in 2011, and he also earned an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell in 2013. The Super Lawyers selection process focuses on attorneys who make substantial contributions to the practice of law in their areas of practice. The process begins with a nomination from a partner at a law firm, a peer, or another outside source. The Super Lawyers team then researches the attorney’s work, professional achievement, and contributions to the practice of law and to the community. After asking for feedback from professional peers, the committee makes its final selection.
Being named a “Super Lawyer” is no small feat. Only 5 percent of nominated attorneys achieve this distinction. Only 2.5 percent of attorneys nominated as “Rising Stars” receive the distinction, according to Super Lawyers.
A graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law, Mr. Maples was admitted to the Oklahoma state bar in 2000. In 2002, he founded his firm in order to dedicate his practice to fighting on behalf of injured clients who were facing long odds in seeking compensation and justice against large corporations and insurance companies.
Attorney Ray Maples is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice before all Oklahoma courts.
