Christian M. Zeaman
Christian M. Zeaman is an Oklahoma attorney with 26 years of legal experience providing focused, personal representation to clients in nearly all counties and jurisdictions in Oklahoma.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Zeaman lived in multiple places during his early childhood, including New York City and Summit, New Jersey. He attended W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia. He then went on to the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his undergraduate degree in psychology, before continuing his education at the University of Oklahoma School of Law. During law school, Mr. Zeaman was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure II. In the summer of 1998, he attended the University of Oxford, Queen’s College, in England, where he studied international commerce and criminal law. He returned the fall of 1998 and graduated with his law degree in spring of 2000.
During his education, Mr. Zeaman worked with Gary J. James & Associates, where he gained significant courtroom experience, including second-chairing three capital murder trials:State v. Clayton Lockett, State v. B.J. Stouffer, and State v. Phillip Smith.
While working with the criminal defense firm, Mr. Zeaman began representing Oklahoma State Troopers in divorce and custody cases. Many of these matters involved contested trials and clients who were not only devoted parents, but also public servants carrying the daily responsibility of protecting Oklahoma communities.
In 2005, Mr. Zeaman founded his own law practice with the goal of offering more direct, one-on-one representation to select clients who needed a dedicated advocate by their side. The law practice began an office-sharing arrangement with another attorney, L. Ray Maples of Maples & Urbach.
In 2012, Mr. Zeaman expanded his practice to include representation of injured clients and others who suffered damages because of the wrongful conduct of another. His work has included car accident cases, dram shop claims, slip-and-fall matters, and invasion of privacy cases.
In 2026, Mr. Zeaman partnered with L. Ray Maples and Rilee Harrison to form Maples Harrison Zeaman.
Mr. Zeaman’s passion for representing injured clients is rooted in his belief that one of the most important functions of a lawsuit is not only to compensate people for the harm they have suffered, but also to deter wrongful conduct, promote accountability, and make the community safer. A case is not measured solely by the magnitude of the damages, but also by the conduct of the party who committed a wrongful act or violated the law.
Our goal is to lead our clients to legal solutions through competency, compassion and superior customer service in a casual, yet professional atmosphere!
