Colby Karcher
Attorney | Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Colby Karcher grew up in Midland, Texas, but his family's roots have long been in Oklahoma. He moved to Oklahoma to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he played collegiate golf, and has called the state home ever since.
Colby began his legal career at a prominent Oklahoma defense firm, where he represented individuals, business, insurance companies, and other corporate defendants in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including medical malpractice, product liability, insurance disputes, commercial litigation, and complex tort cases. That experience gave him firsthand insight into how claims are investigated, evaluated, defended, and resolved.
Now, Colby draws on that experience to represent individuals and families in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, defective product, and other complex civil cases. Having represented defendants and insurers in significant litigation, he understands how the other side approaches a case and uses that perspective in developing strategy for his clients.
Licensed to practice in both Oklahoma and Texas, Colby earned his law degree summa cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law and previously graduated summa cum laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Outside of work, Colby enjoys golfing, spending time with his family, and working on his family's farm near Stillwater. He and his wife, Rebecca, live in Oklahoma City with their dog, Ted.
