He was selected for the Oklahoma Super Lawyers \u201cRising Stars\u201d list in 2011, and he also earned an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell in 2013. The Super Lawyers selection process focuses on attorneys who make substantial contributions to the practice of law in their areas of practice.  The process begins with a nomination from a partner at a law firm, a peer, or another outside source.  The Super Lawyers team then researches the attorney\u2019s work, professional achievement, and contributions to the practice of law and to the community.  After asking for feedback from professional peers, the committee makes its final selection.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Being named a \u201cSuper Lawyer\u201d is no small feat.  Only 5 percent of nominated attorneys achieve this distinction.  Only 2.5 percent of attorneys nominated as \u201cRising Stars\u201d receive the distinction, according to Super Lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law, Mr. Maples was admitted to the Oklahoma state bar in 2000.  In 2002, he founded his firm in order to dedicate his practice to fighting on behalf of injured clients who were facing long odds in seeking compensation and justice against large corporations and insurance companies.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Ray Maples is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association.
